La Vida Ademas will be filmed entirely in New Mexico.
Shooting Schedule:
Since this is an independent film, we have a very open and flexible shooting schedule.

Spanish guitarist, mariachi band, native american flutist, trumpet soloist, and other colorful New Mexican musicians.

Cast Openings:
Most acting roles are paid. Pay will depend on film capital and experience. If a role listed below is open and appeals to you, feel free to audition. PLEASE DO NOT send an email telling us you are interested in auditioning for a role. Instead, send your audition video. See guidelines below.
All initial auditions will be conducted via a link to your audition video. Please send us a link to either vimeo or youtube. Unknown links will not be followed. Please ensure that your camera or cell phone footage is stable and your audio is clear.
If you are auditioning May - July, look for a confirmation that we received your link within 7 days. Then, if choosen for a second audition, we will contact you.
As this is a journey story, (suitable for audiences of all ages) most of the roles have an average of 3-5 minutes of screen time, which equates to 1-3 shooting days per character.
We ask that you would do the following for your audition:1. Tell us your first and last name clearly and spell it.
2. Tell us what year you were born.3. Tell us your height.
4. Tell us the city and state in which you live.4. Pan yourself from head to foot.5. Tell us the name of the character for which you are auditioning.6. Begin your audition.
Audition in a way that supports the description of the character (descriptions below). You can either pick a similar role from TV or film or make something up. We prefer you have someone read lines with you, even if they are off camera. Your video should be a medium shot (from chest to head) and we’ll need to see your eyes as you’re acting. Auditions should be 2-3 minutes in length. Our apologies, but we will not be providing sides or a script during the first phase of auditions. (if you've never auditioned before, simply send in a 1-2 minute video telling us about yourself)
